This is so lovely and peaceful looking Cris. I love the shadows/shade under the tree. And the curves of the landscape. The sheep are so pretty and tranquil looking. I think you captured it well.
Lovely Cris. I love the way you work on a painting, slowly and steadily. The tree is so delicate and pretty. The sheep so bucolic. The landscape calming. Beautiful. Have a great weekend. Suki
Thank you girls. your comments keep me going. :) Suzanne thank you. I will admire your watercolors too. I think watercolors are harder to do then oil painting.
I am a former Californian who has moved to Oregon and am living the country life. I was born and raised in SO. California and loved it, but the time had come for a change to a simpler life. This has proved to be anything but simple, certainly not boring and definitely not without work. And I wouldn't change it for the world.
I am an Artist, Gardener, Photographer, Animal & Bird lover.
I hope you enjoy my photos of the area we live in and also my Art as I join in drawing and painting with other bloggers, sprinkling in scenes of our country life here.

Your paintings are delightful! I have never tried oils and wouldn't know where to start. Maybe one day, but until then, I'll admire yours! ;))
