More Fall & New Painting in Progress

It was beautiful out today.
We went for a walk at the park today.
We have had one day nice and one or two days dreary and rainy off and on for a week now.
Today it was lovely.
We still have some colorful trees around in spite of the rain.
This is a liquid Amber tree.
We have one in front of our house doing this same pattern of turning colors that I show below.
Geese were happy being together

This is what I am working on at the moment.
It doesn't look really great at the moment.
But I wanted to let everyone know that I am working on something.
I have a LONG way to go yet.
Its been hit and miss with time to paint since I feel guilty playing with my paint while Con is out raking up leaves.

Here's our liquid Ambur turning now.
I took this a couple days ago on a gloomy day.
It hasn't begun to lose all its leaves yet.

We will be bagging till December.
the trees in back haven't lost all their leaves yet either but they are further along then this one is.
It will be many trips to the dump to put in their compost bins before we are done wit this chore.

My Hydrangea flowers have turned a pretty red now. They were white with blue centers at first.
One lonely Honeysuckle flower I took today

One pix with flash and one with out.
This morning we spent over an hour cutting back fairy roses, from our neighbors side in back, out of our photinas and false bamboo plants. What a tangled mess. It will grow back next summer. It was a lot of work. I love this bush so don't complain about it. Once a year cutting back isn't bad for the beauty it puts out in summer.
I then drove some Miracle grow food spikes in the ground around the photina bushes I am trying to get to grow for privacy to work its magic during winter. I did it last year and they grew a bunch.
I have some one coming tomorrow to look at my computer.
It has been acting up on me and needs some TLC.
I hope his estimate isn't to high and I can get it fixed.
I haven't been to every ones blogs like I was doing because of my computer freezing on me and my deleting what I can before he comes.
Kind of like cleaning house before the house keeper gets here.
LOL

Love the red car by the red tree. Great shot.
The house painting is terrific. Where is this house? In Spain? Looks European to me.
Excited to see how it evolves Cris.
Good luck with the computer too.

This will be fun, to watch the house "bloom" during winter. Everyone's talking leaves, aren't they :-)

hi Cris, so good to see you paint again and this looks so well already, could be one of Monet's houses:! And oh, your hydrangea is the same color as the one I have on our small balcony in Paris, it's flowers are white with little blue-lavender flowers in the middle, and right now it's the same red as yours. I wish we had a little more sun here in Germany, perhaps today it will come out, its my dad's birthday.
All your rees look wonderful, and the surrounding landscape looks great too, you have chosen a wonderful spot to live in!
Have a great day
Andrea

thanks for showing yr painting in process. It looks lovely. Liquid amber is not a tree I've ever heard of. The one in front of yr house looks almost purplish. Gorgeous. Enjoy the wonderful weather.

I love the first shot with that tree against the blue and white background. That little red car looks like one big leaf at the bottom of the tree. ha... It will be fun seeing your painting as you work on it. Great start.

That is a beautiful tree. Never heard of a liquid amber tree. After all our hard work bagging 20 bags of leaves we find that the trash men will only pick up 3 at a time! We will be till December just trying to get rid of the blasted things!

I love your new painting. I always like house paintings and I'm anxious to see what you are going to do with this one.

Too bad about the computer. I hate when mine gets sickly. Luckily, our computer tech is a friend and can fix ours without too much trouble. Or cost.
