Animal Wednesday

We walked up our street yesterday and saw this young buck who seemed totally unconcerned we were there.

Good thing I had my camera with me.

Then down the road a bit I knew something was watching us and
saw this female deer standing very still so we wouldn't see her.
Con never could see her until I took a photo of her.

It wasn't that far from us but my camera did its blur thing.
I am so glad a new one is coming soon.

There were at least three in here we saw yesterday.

This was my view out my kitchen window before our walk. Check out the little head peeking up in the lower left side.

Fun to find deer and birds here this morning on Animal Wednesday Cris. Glad you are enjoying your walks and will be getting a new camera sans blurr factor! ;-) HAW

Real cuties! Nature abounds at your house.

Those deer are so tame. Around here they usually don't let you get anywhere near them. Love seeing the wildlife in your area. The red-shafted flicker is a beauty.

Fabulous photos! (Old camera or not...) It's the eye of the photgrapher that makes it work! And you have it! (Of course hopig Santa brings you a new camera!)

Love to all 4,

Wow to live like that in the middle of all that nature! You are blessed!
I have never seen a woodpecker like that one. We have the green ones and white/black and red.
It must be thrilling to see deer just like that in the wild!
