She knows comfort when she sees it. :)
You can see a bit of the stairs, at her hind feet, that con built for her to get up and down on the bed now. It took awhile for her to get used to them but now she uses them all the time.
He used some wood he had laying around and we used some of our left over carpet we had to cover them.
Another journal page I worked on.I drew some of the bags that sat in the carport before taking to the dump.
Then I picked up some Oak leaves on the ground and some pods off the Oak tree and brought them in to draw and watercolor them. This time no ink. I am not sure what these pods are, they have fuzzy things in them. I thought the seed was the Acorn. Does anyone know?
Its on here.
I turned off the light and took another shot of it, but it really is lighter when on then this shot shows.
I ordered a new camera today on line. I think the days of my old one are about over.
I have had it for seven years now and its been a great camera, but now I am getting more and more blurred shots and there is a streak going through the back viewing window so I cant see my subject matter all that well, and its acting up downloading it to my computer now. I hope to get the new one this week and figure it out soon. Oh and its purse size which will make it much easier to take with me all the time. :)

Annie is so cute no matter what she is doing. I love your journal page. I don't know what the pod is but your leaves and acorns are great. I am hoping for a new camera for Christmas. Mine is working intermittently. It drives me crazy.
That light is terrific, and so is Annie. How clever to have stairs to get up and down, never thought of that for Snuffs- her legs are just too short tee hee. I know what you want for Xmas- no not more stairs- a new camera!!
Oh that Annie! I love that face! Yes, she DOES know a comfortable spot when she sees one!
Con is the BEST! How wonderful to think of making stairs for Annie.... and.... carpeting too!
Our friend Teri has been in my thoughts so much these past few days.....have you heard anything from her?
Thank you for showing the *Night Light* at Night! It's wonderful......I love its glowing warmth! How creative you are!!!
The sketches are really superb! They are so true-to-life..wish I knew what the *pods* are named....I will *stay tuned* to you blog cos8 I know one of your readers will know!
Love to all 4,

Sweet Annie, knows her comfort level. Amazed but should not be that the stairs are covered in ROSE carpeting! Such class!
Your journal drawings/paintings are super good Cris. Love that you are doing this.
Cute lamp lit and congrats on new camera! You'll be happier with it.
Pillows AND stairs?!! Oh my, I know spoiled when I see it!! ;•)
Love the journal pages and congrats on the new camera!!
which camera did you end up getting Cris?
My neighbor's step-daughter's Greyhound had a leg injury (attacked by a monster dog)- he has a cast for 6 weeks and is visiting so I'm thinking of Annie a bit...Poor thing.
Love that picture of Annie all cozy and comfortable. And the nitelight is awesome!
Cool oak galls! Well done. .... and nice to see Annie looking so comfy.
annie looks so sweet lying there and Con is a treasure to make the stairs for her. love the oak leaves, very nicely done. my camera is a little larger than a cigarette pack. i do like it's portability.
Your sketches of the leaves and pods are really nice! And Annie is so cute - she looks so peaceful and content.
To me it looks like the balls off a Sycamore tree. ?????
