A Daisy for Teri C. Annie & Daisy ..Early HAW

A Daisy for Teri C... No not this Daisy...

THIS ONE..... For Teri C who loves Daisies.
I took this photo for you.

Its December and very cold out at night now and this Shasta daisy is still going strong.

I cut back all the rest a couple months ago, but this lone one still stands there strong through all its going through.

A tribute for Teri after the loss of her beloved Sunshine.

Who we all will miss for some time to come.

I have been busy helping Con with raking and raking some more.
We still have more leaves to come down yet. I hope soon so we can be done with raking.

So I am doing Animal Wednesday a little early. This is the leg Annie had surgery on September 4th.

You can just barely see the scar on her knee. Her hair is about all grown in. She hardly limps at all now.

I went looking for Con and found these two napping the other day.

Mutt and Jeff.. lol

You can see the stairs that Con made for Annie better here..
Yes the room is Pink... I love Pink.. :) I am trying to find new material tho to make new curtains for in here.. which isn't easy to find in our small town.
I want to go with black and cream. I'd like tiny stripes, like my Art Studios curtains I made and something for the Valance that is different. Con is not bothered by Pinks and frills. The pillows that Annie was laying on, in last post, usually go on the bed and makes it look more black and cream in here, but con dumps them on the floor so he & Annie can nap on the bed.

I got my new camera this afternoon. :)))))))))))

Now to figure it out so I can begin using it.

I hate new things. I want to dive right in to use them but have to figure them out first.

So I hope..soon.. to be posting with photos from it. Its very small and will fit into my purse to go with me all the time now. :))))))

Cute Annie photos. She does live the dogs life. I know what you mean about a new camera. At least now you don't have to worry about wasting film. Now I worry about filling up my computer with lots of rotten photos. Ha..

Wow - isn't it amazing how dogs can recover from such major surgery? I love the picture of Annie and Con on the bed, especially knowing that she walked up to the bed on those stairs. how funny!
I think your bedroom is beautiful, I'm a pink fan myself but I think my DH would NOT do a pink room.

love the daisy for Teri - it's a tough loss for her.

Mim, Con hated the fact I painted our first place off white. He felt like we were living in a Hospital. So the place became yellow with a touch of pink. Since moving here Pink has kind of evolved and he is fine with it. Pink..taking in the full range of it.. is a Happy color in a gray wintery state he says.
Lisa, shhhh Annie doesnt know she's a dog...lol

Oh Cris, how sweet. I can hardly believe a daisy is still blooming at this time of the year.

Seeing Annie all healed was worth all the worrying and seeing her napping with Con is priceless.

HAW early and don't work too hard.

I love your bedroom....(mine is Lilac....a-ha-ha)! And the black and white touches really make it *zing*!

Love the shot of Daisy (the Furry one) - who looks like she is saying *Enough of this camera...leave me in peace"!

The other Daisy (the Sunshine one) is truly amazing... it is alovely token of rembrance for the extraordinary Sunshine. Her death has darkened all our worlds.

The photo of DH and Annie is so cute! They are quite the pair!
Annie's recovery is like an extra Christmas gift to us all.

Have *fun* raking those leaves! know Annie WILL be excited to help - (especially with her pink ball)!

HAW!!!!

Love,

♥ Robin ♥

That is such a cute photo of Con and Annie napping!!! You are a frilly girl Cris. You are lucky Con does not mind. ;-)
Good luck with the new camera. I am sure you will scale this learning curve in no time. So glad Teri saw your tribute to her and Sunshine!

I still haven't figured out all that I can do with my camera and I've had it for two years. I hate reading instructions and so I curse the camera for not taking good photos. :)
Annie looks good. Glad she healed up well.
Good luck on your bedroom redo. I had fun with mine. Good for Con for allowing you all that pink.
