Art Tuesday :)

I am still without printer/scanner machine so I got out my old camera to take some photos of my latest projects. My Aunt and Uncles 67th wedding anniversary is coming up on Groundhogs day so I decided to do them a card. They used to have a poodle they loved call Gabby, so I thought I would do two poodles for them to represent both my Aunt and Uncle.

My Aunt just turned 90 last week and My Uncle is 93.

Both Very special to me.

This is just another journal page.

More of the Oak galls I picked off the tree so I could get the correct placement of the growths on the leaves.

Then I did some mail boxes I took a photo of that had fall leaves on the ground. Nothing makes me feel more like I am out in the country then seeing multi mail boxes along the road like this.

How about you?
**
I JUST got delivery of my 'printer head' as I was typing this. Yeaaaaa. Its going on two weeks that my printer/scanner/multi machine died and I have been trying to get the replacement. Now I have to reconfigure my printer to my computer and get me up and running again. The whole thing boggles my mind so I will have to just do it one step at a time.

I was having problems commenting on some blogs. Seems to be working now. Hope it keeps working now.

I love seeing your journal pages. I have been lax again. I just can't get into a constant groove. I have to follow my muse I guess. I love seeing the mail boxes all lined up. I always wonder who lives where. Try to place the box with the people. Your Aunt and Uncle will love their card. Beautiful.

That is such a sweet and thoughtful card for Aunt and Uncle.

I have also been having comment problems. So darn frustrating.

Yes, just take you time setting everything up

Love the journal page.

Very cool mail boxes Cris. I too love long rows of them. I've taken photos too. Must look for them as I'd love to draw them too. Thanks for the inspiration!
Your dogs are always cute! Is the one in the banner new?
Or am I imagining things?
All your art is terrific and love the Tuesday Art idea as well. ;-)

good luck handling all that computer stuff. step by step is best. thinking about it as a whole is so overwhelming.

thanks for showing your journal pages. and what a blessing--your dear aunt and uncle. that's a lot of years together.

Love these cards, Cris! I especially love your journal page. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I always love to see how others do their journals, as mine are always so messy and full of pasted in stuff. Of course I love mailboxes! I always notice them as I'm diving, a habit I can't seem to break.

Oh Cris...first, so happy we are communicating! I have missed you.

Love the poodles.... how sweet! They will be a HUGE HIT with your Aunt and Uncle!

And...the Oaken *goodies*....I love all all things related to Oak Trees!!!!

Whenever I am *in the country* ad see rows of mail boxes, I smile....they are adorable.... so very different from *City Folks* mailboxes!

Love to all 4 and...HAW!!!!

67 years? How great is that. Very lovely cards for them.

Too bad about the commenting - eventually it might go away with these crazy blogger things that happen. Just keep trying!

Glad your printer is back in order. It sucks when all our equipment fails...... My PC seems to be doing better after a few measures I took.
The card is wonderful . How special to have these old relatives, so special that they may stay in your lives so long. Just like Lynn's uncle Harry and aunt Mimi.
The journal page is beautiful as well.
Glad all is working again at your place :)

and I love the art of rosco, it is just simply fantabulous- maybe because it looks a bit like snuffles.

Lovely... always a treat to peak into another artist's journal or sketchbook and "witness" the creative process. Thanks for sharing.
