I love this guy. He is old and adorable
and belongs to our neighbor across the street.
I went over to take some pictures of the fast rising muddy River we live by when we had tons of rain a week ago. A City up above us had major flooding so I was concerned.
So I just added them here.
They went away a couple weeks ago and asked us to check and feed their cats twice a day for a few days. They took Milo and Bear with them.
No problem they are a just little walk across the street from us.
burr...
And we had to walk this..
Annie was happy. So was I. What a photo opportunity. :)
It was gone by night fall tho. Then it rained for three days straight and the River pix came after this.
My printer, scanner and photo down loader machine is FIXED.. Well REPLACED.
Color me HAPPY.
One thing about Canon is they do come thru and help you. It took two and a half weeks tho to get it going but they came thru and I am back in business. So here are a few pictures I have been taking I thought were cute to share and couldnt before.
Good Friends.
They have gotten along from the very begining.
The toys are Annie's alone and she uses all of them.
She even has her original teddy bear, a little dog eared and sewn a few times and washed too, but she loves it still.
Morning ritual
Daisy on my lap, Annie with ball
Since we had to put Nikki to sleep she has really become a lap cat.

Its been nice lately. we've been out walking daily. Annie isn't limping at all now.
Its been five months since her Surgery.
Well worth the Surgery we had done.
Well worth the Surgery we had done.
I get to enjoy it like this all winter and she puts it outside all summer and it blooms then too.
It was all facing the window so I had to turn it facing the room.
I love these guys so much.
Con used to raise them when he was a kid in Montana.
We have the room but do we really want the responsibility.
Time will tell.
:))
I am so happy to have my machine back so I can scan things and down load my photos to share.
Life is Good!!

Cris....how wonderful your printer/scanner it working 1t full speed again! What fabulous photos!
I love *Bears* and Milo...they are so sweet... it always make me extra happy to see a pet who has lived a long and loved life!
Shadow and Johnny are adorable too! Great shot of them *dining together*! What do Annie and Daisy think about them? Do they react after you come home from looking after them?
The snow scenes are magical... the ones with Con and Annie are precious! I am THRILLED Annie walks without a limp now! (These days, Annie is MY EXAMPLE....not that I limp..but my knee is still stiff!) The shot of A and D together.....it's beyond sweet!!!!
ALL those toys for Annie!!!! You can tell she is *NOT* spoiled!!
A-ha-ha!
Daisy being your "Lap Warmer"...fantastic....is anything better than a *Furball* on your lap! She is so beautiful.... I love her coat! Nikki is probably giving her *hints* to jump on Mom's lap!
But oh, the photo of Annie - waiting for Con to play ball.... OMG..that face!!!! I just adore her!
Faris's Geraniums really bring some vivid colour and warmth to the Winter light!
As for the Chickens.... are they a lot of work? I love to hear them *cluck-clucking*... but not too sure how much I would adore a Rooster's crowing every Morning!!
Still, you would have fresh eggs!!!
Loved this post! So happy everything is working again!!
Love to all,
♥ Robin ♥
I can see you painting Little Bear and those red geraniums in the corner! Wonderful photos all!!!!
No Roosters Robin. The neighbors would have a fit. :)
It is good to hear that you are so happy with your new printer/scanner. I am happy too because I can hear/see from you more. That Annie is such a sweet girl. It is wonderful to have a lap cat this time of year especially.
It's funny. I have morning rituals too one being to sit and sip my tea, stare out the window with Bibs on my lap. Bibs gets into the chair and waits for me to come, it's so cute.
your new camera scanner does do great photos. love all the kitties and dogs. esp annie with kitty beside her toys. so cute.
whew, glad the river didnt cause you any flooding. they are pretty but they do a lot of damage sometimes in rains.
be well, suki
I'm glad your scanner thing is back and working - I would be lost without mine! I can't believe I used to have to take pics of my artwork, the scanner is sooooooo much better.I'm glad Annie has healed and you are pleased to have done surgery, it's always a tough decision but I think you chose right!
Your weather looks a lot like ours. No real snow yet this year, but the rain! All our rivers and streams are up and many roads are closed because of flooding. Spring is marching in, however, and it won't be too much longer.
Good to see that all the plants and animals are thriving under your care. As if there were any doubt!
Hiya Cris!! It's wonderful to see all these pretty photos here. Like Suki, I adore the one of Annie and Daisy. And those toys, my gosh I thought Emma had a lot!!
Nice to see the good life at your place. yay!!
And I'm glad the river isn't causing a threat to you. That would be awful.
Stay high and dry!
Well, not HIGH...unless you feel like it ;P
Lolo♥
LOVE the bistro table!
it's so nice to see your pictures again, everyone looks wonderful even in the snow!
My neighbor had chickens and I took care of them for her for years. The only benefit was the eggs otherwise it was just nasty and they were pecky and cranky. So Im not a chicken fan...but I do love eggs
hello chris, aww you have a springer spaniel? my dog rosie was a springer, and very special and smart. i'll bet you'll say the same.
your photos are wonderful. i agree with you about canon.
love
kj
